any 1 get pod to work on XP with a gforce card??

Hey Valis. So you've found your way to the last outpost of Pod-playing freaks ;-) I'm not sure whether the others got Pod to work on XP or not (if I remember correctly it's only possible with an AMD cpu, not sure tho).

What are we up to. Well actually we're totally addicted to the new game "Trackmania" right now (I'm not sure if it's been released in North America yet). We're rocking the team league with our old-school Pod skills ;-)

Hmm, I can't think of anything else right now. I'm too tired. I'll let the other fill you in on the rest, hehe.

About POD, yes, the only way to have it work on an XP host is to have a 3dfx ... or 3dfx2 Also, it seems like impossible to make it work on P4 processors ... I had to buy an AMD where I only installed POD under Win98 ...

About TrackMania, it should be in Notth America around March if I am right

Will a Voodoo 1 or 2 card with Windows XP and an AhtlonXP probably work? I might pick up an old card off of ebay if this will work. I gave my 3dfx card to someone when I got my TNT because I didn't think I'd need it

Well, I guess it would do it ... I can not try since the only PC I have with XP is a P4 ... but the best thing would be to borrow someone's old 3dfx and try.

If you want, I may try this on my PC at work ... but not sure I remember all the trick to apply when the PC does not detect your 3dfx Moreover, you will have to get the drivers from the voodoo sites http://www.voodoofiles.com/3dfxhelp.asp

i got my voodoo 2 to work on winME ,30.82 directx 9.0b
game works great,i had normal install in,just did the 24 meg patch twice and it works!!!!
hate using a joystik tho, real bad with it ,gonna have to repair one of my old wheels with old game port,cause no usb on the pc im using and if i remember right usb wud not work on 3dfx cards online or something.

OH! and im running a p3 850

There is no more Game Servie ... so you know ... online gaming with POD is a little dead

Anyway, I am quite sure you will get back some old ghosts, and see that you were really good on some tracks !
