Sik, Thanks for uploading the file rightaway. I downloaded it and tried to test it but it seems to be looking for directx9.

I have a V5500 running on DX8 right now.

My question is: Is my V5 compatible with DX9?

Before I upgrade to DX9, I like to know if anyone can share some information on this. I thank anyone in advance and all comments are welcomed.

Don't worry, all versions of DirectX are meant to be compatible with previous ones.

So on your system if something worked with dx8, it'll work under dx9. And if something doesn't work under dx9 because of an unsupported special feature, then it wouldn't have worked anyway under dx8
