CDPatcher finds no tracks and cars :(

Hello pod players,

I've got a problem
I installed the game on my new computer. I installed the patches. The game itself works without any problems.
But if i try to add new tracks and cars, it don't works. The CD Patcher can't find any tracks or cars. The folders are all correct. I've made a screenshot from my CD Patcher. It's the newest version.
I assume that the problem is the “circuits.bin” and the “voitures.bin”. If I replace the file “C:\UbiSoft\Pod\data\binary\Scripts\CIRCUITS.BIN” by one “circuits.bin” of a track (for example "Magnetic"), the CDPatcher finds only this one track (Magnetic).

Hope that anybody can help me.

It's BL4. All tracks have the BL4-File. Some tracks have the BL3-File too.

Long long time ago

If i remember, there was a param (like 3Dfx=1? Don't remember) in C:\Windows\Ubisoft\POD2_\ubi.ini that CDPatcher use to check for bl3 or bl4 files.

Workaround:
For tracks/cars you want to add, copy the bl4/bv4 to bl3/bv3 extension in the installation folder used by CDPatcher. CDPatcher will than be OK to add tracks/cars and will copy bl3/bv3 files to pod game directory. There rename bl3/bv3 to bl4/bv4 (for the game itself to find the xx4)

So you mean I should add the BL3 files too? The tracks I had added in Circuits folder had already the BL3-files included. They have BL3 and BL4 files. The Patcher can still not find any track or car

I have made the test (found old installation folder).
- C:\Windows\Ubisoft\Ubi.ini is the file containing info used by CDPatcher
- Not a problem of BL3/BL4. even if i don't put BLx file in the installation directory, the track is shown in CDPatcher

In the folder where is located CDPatcher (somewhere else than the game itslef), you need to have a folder 'Circuits', containing un folder 'Magnetic' (for example), containing all the files (magnetic.BL4, circuits.bin, magnetic.meg). If you don't follow this hierarchy (for example if you put the 3 files directly in the same folder as CDPatcher) it will not work.

I have additionally still the “Back To Hell” CD. It contains the CD Patcher too and if I start it from this CD, I have the same problem. So the problem can't be the CDPatcher itself and it can't be the folder structure.

Sorry no real idea, except that CDPatcher is not done to install tracks already copied in the game folder (but never tested if it works so i don't know if the problem comme from there).

The [game]\binany\circuits\ should contain only the already installed tracks (seen in game)
A second folder (nothing to do with the game folder) with CDPatcher exe, circuits folder and tracks folders
CDPatcher will then copy the tracks itself to the game folder
