What is the difference between "happy Christmas" and "merry Christmas" ?

:glandhal: Saying "Merry" is just another way of saying have a "Lively and cheerful" Christmas, while "Happy" does not exactly convey the same feeling.

ben, en fait ca signifie à peu près la même chose. La seule difference, c'est que dans les pays anglophones (ou principalement l'Angleterre, l'Australie et l'Amerique du Nord) 'Merry Christmas' est un terme fixe. C'est un peu compliqué à expliquer, mais je pense qu'on peut dire qu'au cours de l'histoire c'est devenu le terme préféré.
