I got ahold of Mr. D and got some news on Rico. Surgery went well and he is doing good. He is a bit bummed about the whole thing, but otherwise doing well.

Yeah, It was a kidney operation. I tried the phone number I had but it is no longer his number. I know he moved but not sure where to exactly. If I knew what city we could try to locate him, assuming his number is not unlisted.

I was hoping you had a way to contact him.

I could not even begin to count the number of aliases Leadbest used on the GS. But then we all had multiple aliases we used. I know I used at least 10 different ones.

LB if you get a chance drop into the irc channel this weekend, missed you last time you came to visit by 5 minutes.

It has been years since I last played.

Then would adding a background to the track violate the "originality" of the track since it is considered "incomplete"?

I just think it would be cool to see the track winding between mountain tops and "clouds", as long as the track maintains it's orginal form.

Is anyone working on a update of Sky? I always thought it would be cool to add some mountain tops and some haze(clouds) to parts of the track as well as make it look more "bridge" like.

I used to play POD almost every waking hour of the day. I remember many times getting up at 9 a.m., sitting at the PC, and then playing until the sun come up at 5a.m.. The whole damn day and night would just zip by. I also remember when I logged onto the GS, I would only race about 10% of the time....

Pod was more then a game. It was a community. We united as a group for the fun, friendship, and competition. The very nature of the GS lent itself to this one of a kind experiance.
